Scottish Fold Cat
The Scottish Fold cat is a breed which first appeared in Scotland in 1961. They have a natural dominant-gene mutation affecting the cartilage, causing the ears to "fold" towards the front of their head. Scottish Fold cats can be either long or short haired, and come in nearly every coat color. Longhaired Scottish Folds can also be known by the names Highland Fold, Scottish Fold Longhair, Longhair Fold or Coupar.
Scottish Fold cats are intelligent, sweet and softly spoken. They are loyal cats who tend to bond with one person in a household.
