The Oriental cat is a breed which has its genetic roots in Thailand and is closely related to the Siamese cat. It has the same head and body type but is available in hundreds of different fur colors and patterns. Oriental cats have almond-shaped eyes, large ears and a long, slender body.
Oriental cats reportedly crave human attention. These cats are social, intelligent and often vocal. The tone of an Oriental cat's voice is often gentler than the Siamese cat.
